Okay....after these posts on here and the obvious certain intensity that is followed by us that own Non Mainstream bikes...... :D
I think that a get together ride is in the future to be set up.....

Think....

Could find either the most awesome place to ride or one that is a compromise of location to all those that could attend.....

Spring is a great time to start putting one of these together.....
I am game.....(if I aint in Afganistan ! :) )

Need to put faces to these posts somehow....and of course some soil sampling!

I live in Mass but ride in New Hampshire with a buddy who also rides a cannondale, we would be gladd to have some guys up to ride, and possibly travel to ride if someone else has another place in mind

Okay........so....
Ideas.....lets start floating some potential areas....I am assuming either center or at least close to someone that knows the area is a hoot....and has a great mix of riding, from trails, to moto and places to stay or camping etc.......
there are some awesome areas up here in Washington...but the rain on the west side of the mountains is pretty predictable and the east side....well you have to wait normally until late spring uttil it is warm enough to be fun.
So I am game......and really would like to plan a moto trip this year.....just need to know far enough in advance.....take leave etc.....

I'm in for a Thumper TAlk group ride, anywhere from Colorado west to the Pacific. Now, if I can just make sure my old 86 Dodge Ram could make it to SoCal or Washington. :)

Hey let's not forget about us thumpers on the right coast (florida). I would be interested in this as well. Tired of being the only Husaberg around.

HR-USA-GTMS34.

I'm interested in doing a ride. I'm in Spokane, Washington and would consider a west coast ride. I know of an area south of Pendleton, OR called Ukiah has some really nice woods riding and camping. Maybe Moab, UT?? I've lived in Portland and Seattle and there are good trails but it's too wet and sloppy. I prefer drier conditions.

Any other suggestions?

Hey...I am game....so...we have...Oregon...Moab...
I think canvasing what people would like to be able to do.....then overlay the "wheres" that support the best....then go from there....
think?

Like for me...a MX track isnt that critical...but would be awesome for a ride like this...with all the people etc...easy to watch, take photos....and bench race after the fact....who knows.....I just want to ride in some new kewl places!

I hear that the coast of Oregon is a great place to visit. Lets see... go see the coast and ride with some fellow Thumper Talkers. Sounds pretty good to me. :) Moab would be nice, but all I've ever done there is ride Mtn Bikes. It would probably be a great ride, but I don't know, I havn't lived in UT too long.

One of my lifes significant emotional event was while driving through your state. Stopped at a town to get some fork fluid for a bike (was traveling/dirt bike vacation from Kentucky to Seattle) with my wifes van, friends huge trailer, 4 dirt bikes, mountain bikes, Yakima roof rack and storage etc......
and this lady didnt think she had to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic....
well......we hit at a closing speed of over 65 MPH.
needless to say...vacation ended there....I was the only one that didnt go to the hospital in an ambulance....trailer and van totalled...bikes all buggered...wow oh wow oh wow......
but....
yeaah..how about Oregon....
:D :D :D
I have no biases from any state!

USA-HR.

I grew up in oregon and lived there for 30 years. The coast is amazing but it can be crowded and very wet. I moved east to get out of the rain!!! You could go to Florence or Sand Lake and ride sand dunes all day long. But I'm not in to abusing my new bike with salt.

I'll ride woods... Not much into the track...

I hear western montana has endless miles of trails but I don't know any of the riding areas.

My favorite area is Ukiah, OR. Great ORV park. The trails are marked from easy to expert. Also the trails are clean and uncrowed. Well, they were :)

Lets keep the ideas flowin....
