I need some help guys.
I hope someone on here has both an 05 and an 07 they can look at for me.
I am trying to use an 07 rear fender with my 05 (converted) plastics.
I like the 07 WR rear tail light and need to know if the fender mounting holes to the sub frame are all in the same place?
I have (2) 2002 WR426F's that are in supermoto trim which have been converted to 05 bodywork, and would like to run the 07 rear fender.
Anyone who can check this out for me before I buy the fenders would be a big help!
I really appreciate it.
P.S. here is one of the bikes.

The rear fenders are considerably different up underneath where it attaches to the sub frame and fits up against the air box. The sub on the aluminum frame is different than that on the steel one. You might "make it work", but it won't bolt straight up.

Hey Gray,
Thanks for the reply.
I have completely converted these bikes to the 05 set up including the 05 aluminum subframe.
With that considered, do you think it is a bolt on?
Thanks bro.

No, because, as I said, the sub, air box, etc., are all different parts for the aluminum framed bikes than they were for either version of the steel bikes.

Heheh, thanks!
Thats the old engine, this is one of the new engines, however it is NOT the one going into this bike, as I said I have 2 and this engine is for the "B" bike, which will mainly be for my wife to put around on, and also my bro's when they want to go for a canyon rip.
The "A" motor has black wrinkle on the primary case cover as well, which this one will have as soone as the new (used) cover I just bought comes in and I can get it to the powder coater.
I did the primary case cover on this engine in solar black to see if the contrast would look good but I like the all wrinkle effect of the other motor so this is temporary.
This is porn.
P.S. the little specks you see are just dust, trust me this thing is spotless, and the little discoloration on the head is an oil smear from taking it out of the bag.
More pics to follow when these make it into the bike(s).
