Just got new 07 and havent run it properly yet just started and few laps around garden, but noticed clutch sounds very noisey???

This is my first 4stroke and know clutches can be but wondering if common to be loud on new bike?

Thinking of stripping and checking torque?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Why do you think it's the clutch?

My 07 clutch makes an audible noise when idling. changes when you pull clutch lever in/out. The dealer (Hahm) warned me this is normal when I took delivery. 18 hours so far an no problems.
Make sure oil is fresh and level is good, and don't worry.

Thanks for the help. Basically noise goes when the clutch is pulled in when stationary just seemed to be more apparant after a little bit of running.

I have got a new chain and had ordered sprockets but got a 48 instead of 49 so i will just out chain on for now, and hopefully be ready to go.

The oil is hotter/thinner, making the rattle more audible. Plus you're more attuned to it now.
