I know there's probably a simple fix for this, but after attempting to reinstall my front wheel after having my forks off, there is a gap between the odometer drive and the lower fork clamp. I have had this issue with everything i own with forks. I don't remember that gap being there when i pulled it apart. The forks are not bent. Anyone have a similar prob before? Or am i seeing things and this gap is normal? It's around a quarter inch...

thanks.

Pull the forx together before you tighten the pinch bolts.

I have the same gap in the same place on my xr400, I think it is supposed to be there. The wider part of the axle pushes the odo drive in tight.
