I want a newer bike, but????

Recommended Posts

I want to buy a newer XR650R, but i'm having a hard time with deciding to sell my ol 96 XR600R. I've done so much work to my bike already but it's one of those deals that the buyer would have to appreciate the work and hours ot tinkering to get a good price that I feel the bike is worth to me. You can see my bike here at http:/www.putfile.com/cbaranski. Give me some feed back. I'm looking at a 05 XR650R that is completely stock with no mods at all. they want $4300 for it. please any feedback will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The first thing to do is accept that nobody is going to pay for all the work you've done. At least not all of it. Sad fact of ownership. :ride:

I bought an 03 with less than 500 miles last spring. Has Baja Designs kit and their passenger pegs. New set of street tires off the bike and newer MT21's on it. I paid $4200 for it. That's a bit higher than average but the bike was showroom new. Some live a pretty hard life. If it's in primo shape it's worth close to that. (screaming deals aren't the average)
