You guys are killing me! :D

I will be doing ANOTHER GIANT purchase from Norm Kouba.

Cost is $13.00 apiece with all susequential units @$11.00.

I WILL setup Pay Pal to accept CREDIT CARDS!!

PLEASE DO NOT send me a private message. There is a very limited amount of space for p.m.'s, and I may not receive it.

It is also quite difficult jumping btwn e-mail, p.m.'s, and replies to this posting for orders.

I have gotten MUCH smarter this time around! :)

More news to come!

www.koubalink.com
see about T-Handles for Pilot screw adjusting.

A few of the guys have RAVED about this t-handles. One observer, the PROUD owner of a little screwdriver for adjusting his pilot screw, informed the proud Kouba owner that "He Sucked"! This was because the screwdriver owner did not have an unbelievably simple way of adjusting his pilot screw.

When to adjust your pilot? When any of the following changes:

the ambient temperature

the humidity

your riding elevation

your air filter getting dirty (and no convenient place to clean).

A just cleaned air filter with slightly rich on the filter oil.

OK Kevin, what am I missing? I have a fuel mixture screwdriver that seems to work OK. What is the benefit of this thing? How small is it? Am I reading the website right? It fits into the fuel mixture hole? Am I just dumb? Don't answer that last question.

Ya, it fits OVER the existing fuel screw. It's brass, machined inside to fit snug over the screw when tapped on. And of course has a little t-handle so you can just reach down and tweek it without hunting down your little screwdriver. Both my XR650 & my Husaberg had screws with handles to tweek the pilot circuit...glad to have that on the WR now too!

Gents,
The T-Handle SNUG fits over your pilot screw. That is the adjustable screw that is accessed from under the carb.
I have been adjusting mine with the shortened screwdriver. I have been turning and turning mine, but was never even meshing w/ the pilot! This T-Handle STAYS in place. Adjustments are a 5 second affair, no fumbling w/ those stupid little screwdrivers, no stopping to yank it out of your pack (I use to stick mine under the cross bar pad flap), no dropping it and having to hop off the bike to grab it.

When I buy anything, I relate it to a beer. This puts everything on a "Beer Base" perspective. The Kouba is about 2.5 beers. Heck, I drink 2.5 beers in a night (over an 8 hr period, UNLESS I am short on time!).

If I screw over anyone, feel free to firebomb my house. Take the garage first, it IS a P.O.S.! My bike is in my walkout basement. Give me a heads up so I can get my bike and gear out. Everything else can burn. Insurance should cover it! :D
