Just need some info
1. the spring loaded oil spout under the stock decomp. mech., does it stay in or come out
2. the decomp. lever and cable., do you just disconect it or set it so it does not incage

I'm not sure on the correct way of doing it.....I decided to leave mine in. Reason being that it would appear to keep the oil curcuit pressurized. One thing i wish i paid more attentioin to is the cam bearing next to the cam gear. It has a specific orientation with one side of the bearing being open and the other closed. This plays into oil pressure flowing through the cam. I must have done it right cause i have at least 1000 miles and everything is great.

Got the answer from Hotcam

The decomp lever and cable CAN stay
The spring loaded oil spout under the OEM assy on the Stock cam, MUST come out

They told me it could fly out and hurt the top end/ bottom end
I also talked to a shop called Pro Tech East, he is a freind of mine and he told me the same thing
He was a Honda Tech Trainer for years as well as a dam great mechanic.
He runs a suspension and race shop now
