Thats all I've done so far. Added 1 tooth to the rear.

I got a great deal on the pipe. $449.00 to my front door.

Also, cut the stock grips off and threw them as far as I could.

I figured I would get the most out of that rubbberband called a chain, that was stock. I did do some preliminary checks before I first took my '06 out, rode about 10 hrs over a couple weekends, and to my shock and disbelief, the steering head and swingarm was bone dry. Not even a smear of grease.

Man those Yamaha grips are maneaters, at least they do not vulcanize them onto the bars. I swapped out the stock bars and grips, for the Windham RM mids and Renthal duel comp. I put a DrD on my 426 and am going to install his new carbon on my '06.

Man I really like the white fender/One industries graphic look. YZ426FRider inspired me to do the same from the older "Best looking 426" thread. I'm in the process of doing the same to my '02, I'll post it when done.

My '01 is a bit scuffed up, but I'm inspired from all of these great looking bikes to tear it down and get the frame/sub-frame powdercoated black.
