Does anyone know if 05 yz450 case halfs will interchange with an 06.A friend busted the chain side, and found that side on ebay. But it looks like an 04-05 even though it is listed as an 06.It has the clutch actuator arm mounted like an 04-05.But if it will work he will save more than enough to change those parts.

nope there different ,on the 06s they rotated the cylinder back a few degrees to centralize the engine mass . but there are prob even more diff than that.

They're not even close. Cylinder angle, internal oil tank, wider across the trans, no external oil lines, etc., etc.....
