im setting up my catch cans for my supermoto and was wondering why yamaha put two lines on the same vent on each side of the carb ???
one vent hole = two hoses  i blocked off one on each side so that i only have 3 vent lines running to my catch can. anyone see any problems with that ???
thanks

One is a vent and the other is an overflow. If you want fewer lines, connect the 2 vents(the lines that run up and over the top) with a "T" and the same for the overflow(the lines that come out horizontilly). The carb below doesn't have as many lines but you get the idea. Ideally, it should be mounted below the float level, but I have not had any problems with where it is at. JMO Tdub
