We braved the icy cold elements to ride on Saddle Mountain. We did not expect to find any snow since in the Quincy/George area where Tony and I live we really had no new snow in the last week. The Mattawa area is almost always warmer than our area. All we really expected was cold temps but to our surprise there was snow with hard frozen ground underneath it and ice in our favorite ravines. The video I posted last week showed Saddle Mountain at it's best. This video from yesterday is short but shows it at its worst. We may of put in 16 miles in 4 hours.

DJ took this great picture which really puts into perspective the ravine conditions we faced yesterday  :

I've got to hand it to you Nick, you're dedicated. I hope the conditions improve soon. I'm planning to ride next weekend and I'd rather not go back to Moses Lake. But I will if I have to.

Riding with the outriggers down tires you quick doesn't it? You are really making me jealous! You get out and ride more than anyone - and film it too! Thanks for the video, nice job.

I gotta get a riding jacket and grip warmers! This 12 degree stuff is getting old.

note to self: add 2 feet of fuel line to fanny pack......once again the travellin tool box saves the day. Thanks Nick!
