Where do you guys recommend near Vancouver? I don't like Pro Caliber much and am lost for last minute buys now that Jim's is gone. Anyplace close got good tire deals? St. Johns? Cycle gear?

I didn't know this either.

I use to BS with Ricky all the time at Gresham. I tried to find his shop one day and couldn't find it so I guess it's time I try again.

I had Rick do some tuning to my WR 450 about a year ago, and he had a good selection then. I thought he said he was a delear for one of the tire co.
Anyway, hope he can help you out.

I'm sorry I can't stand that place!

I use to go to ????????what was it called?????? Rose city or Portland off road???? I can't remember now but it was across the street. That was the best place in Portland to go BS, hang out, buy stuff AT A GREAT PRICE!
I use to buy 98% of my stuff from that place. Under fifty bux for a 752 which a they always had a stack of. They left , Cycle Gear moved in and prices went straight up! Sorry but every time I've walked into that place I've walked out empty handed and headed else where maybe I've always miss'd their on occasion sale.

Well, if you can do it, Pro does have a great selection at good prices and the 10% off card. + they are open 7 days/week.

I actually like several of the parts guys and the neat thing about the sales dept is you don't feel like you have to be nice like you do in a smaller dealership.

pro caliber has a big selection of tires. if you cant find what you need there, i dont know if you should be ridin at all!!!!!!! If you deal with the right people like i do, you would have no problem at all.

I can certainly understand you're distaste for them. I dont necessarily like them, but if I need a tire ASAP then I'd consider them. I got lucky last time I went and they we're selling 756's for about $60 and had piles of them.

If you think the Ptlnd Cycle Gear sucks dont even go to the Cali locations. I think they hire only 16y/o metal mulisha rejects. Good times....
