I'm 6'2" and I run Windham Pro Tapers with a 10mm riser and I'm pretty happy with the way it feels.

I am six ft two and really like the windham bend on my 06. It really opened up the cockpit for me. Good luck.

How tall is Windham? It seems to be a popular choice for taller guys. How tall are Reed/Henry? It's hard not being able to try out sets before ordering.

If you go on the Pro Taper website there is a chart that lists the sizes.

I finally made it over to the Protaper website and that chart is handy. It doesn't tell me much though if I don't know what stock is to compare them. Does anyone know the stock dimensions on the "06 450s?

'06 OEM is very close to what Pro Taper calls the "YZ High" bend. Perhaps 5mm lower, but close.

Does the ID of Pro Taper Contour bars accept the insert for handguards?

Right ater I asked that I called PT and they said 'yep'. I am buying some PT Contour Pastrana FMX bars for my RM250. I am 6'2" or 6'3" and the bars need to come way up on that bike...the Pastrana FMX's are 121mm, the highest I could find. Has anybody tried them?

I just picked up my '06 YZ450 yesterday and haven't had much time to ride it since I'm en camino back to Mexico. Just sitting on it a bit made me think I might want to get some bars that come back and up a little more. What a bummer as the stock ones seem so nice. I was just curious what you guys are running and what your height is so how about a little poll? I'm 6'0" btw so I'm curious if other guys my height are changing out their bars or staying with the stock ones.

I am 6.3. I use RC High plus Tri-Star Upper Clamps with 3/4 inch shim kit.

Im quite interested in this topic and I have noticed how big I feel in comparison to the bike. I am 6 foot and I have seen some video of me riding, and I almost look goonish when im sitting down getting ready to go into a corner. Is it just me or are the foot pegs higher then the other bikes, and its not as much of a handlebar problem as a foot peg problem..?

Coming off of a WR450 my foot pegs felt really strange at first but now they are comfortable as can be and I'm 6 even as well. The windham bars are perfect for me btw.
