I was gonna ask the same question...sort of...so forgive the hijacking.
We are riding Saturday and Sunday and cannot decide if we will be able to ride Mattawa Saturday or stick to Juniper for two days. How is it looking out there Tony and Nick??? Will the snow be melted off by Saturday?

The Tri Cities never did get snow according to a friend of mine who lives there. So Juniper should still be snow free.
Saddle Mt. had snow on Saturday when Tony and I rode there. Mattawa has had some rather warm weather over the last couple days. Yesterday was 56 degrees. So I would guess the lower portions of the mountain are clear but up high it most likely still has snow.

Lets see what the weather brings our way. If we don't get anymore snow I will gladly do Saddle Mt. on Saturday.

Mattawa is about 8 miles?? south of Vantage on the east side of the Columbia. Terrain is very rocky, some steeps, some flats, some ravines. Moderately challenging to knock your socks off challenging if you want to get crazy.

Is that where you are planning to ride? I was thinking of riding juniper if it is halfway decent this weekend. How early saturday were you planning on riding?
