I just put on a older version quicksilver carb on my 98 XR600R. Can anyone give me a base setting on where to start with the jetting adjuster knob located on top of the carb? Also where do you mount the idle control knob. Does it just zip tie on somewhere and if so where did you mount it. Finally the fuel intake outlet was unscrewed when I got it. I put it back on and hooked it up to the tank and it leaks. It looks like you have to align the hole in the fuel intake nozzle with the part it screws into, is this correct and if so that seems like a really bad design. Any other install or jetting help would be really helpful.
Thanks
