Does anyone know how much taller these seats are compared to the standard SDG? Will it make the bike handle worse than it already does?

My bike needs a new seat and they have a tall version in stock at my dealer for $80.

I put a tall SDG seat on my '03 YZ450 and it no longer feels like I'm sitting on a 2X4. The tall SDG seat actually has some padding, my stock seat feels like upollstered concrete in comparision. If I remember correctly the SDG is only slightly taller than stock at the back (1/4"?) and maybe 1/2" thicker at the seat/subframe junction. I think you'll like it, I did and still do.

haha The std. SDG (my current one) feels like a 2x4 with sand paper glued to it!

Thanks. That's the opinion I was looking for:ride:
