XR600R's

Recommended Posts

my 91 I bought for $800.  put about $1200 in to it and hours of blood, sweat, and tears.  But, i still want to tinker.  after the 87 CR250 is complete, the engine comes out for a few more HP tweaks.

What rear fender is that? Looks great!

1993. Built engine and frame from ground up, street legal. It has been a stone cold reliable go any where machine. Wish I had 2 more!

Looks great! Second pic? dualsport event? where? I hear the Shenandoah 500 is the a good one.

Been out of the motorbike scene for a couple of years... sold my old KX250 back in '08 and haven't ridden much since. Found both of these beauties on Craigslist for a good price and decided to get back into it. The '86 is my brothers and the '95 is mine... just did fresh fluids, filters and rubber for both.

Sweet!  Welcome to the forums!

Thanks... just picked them up so mods are coming... the '86 doesn't need much... it's been well cared for and already has a few aftermarket goodies to keep things current.

The '95, I bought from the original owner, he rode it for a few months and basically stored it away in his garage for 15 years... it still had the original tires, chain & sprockets in good condition but I replaced all of it with new.  The paint & plastics are near perfect except the area around the shifter.  It was red/white/purple... the purple was the first thing to go... still need new fork boots and tank grafix but if it don't make it go fast or stop fast it's low on the priority list.

Ordering new exhaust, Desert tank, bars, newer computer, and a few other bits for mine over the next few weeks... can't wait to get out and do some serious riding this summer.
