Gray wire on a switch

Iv heard of puting the gray wire on a switch,switching for boost or lite riding:ride: . My question is have you done it and can it be switched whille riding, ow and is it worth it?

The answer to all three questions is no...disconnect it and be done with it...SC

I did it on my old WR426F and couldnt tell the difference between YZ and WR ignition mapping. But I did do the switch.
