Help me out here. Who sells a good tool to STAKE the master link pins?

It's easy to find a breaker to get the links off, but this tool would peen the links over like OEM. I don't want to use a clip-type master link, except in an emergency on the trail - - just to get me back to the truck.

Thanks!

You can just use a grinder, bench or hand held works fine and you can use it for many other things too!

I use the Motionpro Tool chain tool http://www.motionpro..._riveting_tool/

It works good for the weekend warrior. If I worked on bike for a living I would have looked for something a little more heavy duty.

NY,

I want the tool to put the link ON, not grind it off. To peen the link over, to stake it so it won't come off.

The Motion Pro one works really good. I've had mine for 7 or 8 years, and it's done everything from roadracers, to dirt bikes with success. It could be a little heavier duty, like for a shop (as stated elsewhere), but for me it's worth the money. IMO, anyway.
