hey, going to buy a yzf 426 (01) tomorrow and im just wondering what should be written on the frame number???

The VIN number is stamped on the frame. Is that what your talking about? If so, how would I (we) know what the VIN is? :thumbsup:

im just saying what the first few numbers or so should be.you obviously wont know the whole thing but i just want a tip on what to look for to know its a 2001.:thumbsup:

tenth digit of vin is year
01 is a 1
00 is a y
99 is an x
02 is a 2
