I kind of like mine. It's got the white lines from stressing the plastic, all sorts of scratches from crashes, trashed stickers, and all sorts of other stuff that's caused by riding my dirtbike. A clean machine is all fine and dandy, but, as I learned in my mountain biking days, you don't ride to your full potential if you're worried about scratching the danmed thing!

Probably not the best looking 426, but I have yet to see another one like it out there!

After a little over a year of riding hillclimbs out at carnegie and doing some local harescrambles my faithful 426 wasn't looking too swell, and lacking a front fender(steep hill with a chute on the top)
Posted Image
Then after taking a trip to stonyford without a front fender and getting my own roost in the face all day I got determined to fix it up.

Posted Image

(BTW stonyford is AWESOME!) It was a great day of riding but I put down over 70 miles and had to refill twice so I added and IMS 3.4 gallon tank to my list.

So after the new tank and cycra front fender I should be all ready to take on my upcoming harescrambles

I was sick of blue... too many of my other bikes are blue, so with the 426 I went with this while having it down to do the big bore. And I'm not too fond of graphics either...

TeamScream, don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to help. From an outside observer's view, I think the front guard would look better if you rounded the corners where you've chopped the front off. It kind of looks like a bad haircut at the moment and takes away from the look of the whole bike.
