Wow... lots of inspirational bikes on here! Mine is pretty much stock besides the bars and the muffler. It's a 2001 and runs great!! Starts on the 2nd or 3rd kick every time.

Heres my YZ426F... Lots of modifications.. Man, getting the street legal kit in order has definitely been the most challenging mod.

Heres the evolution of the bike.. Tell me what you guys think!

When I bough her..

Second overhaul..

HOW?! I want mine plated so bad it hurts.......

It all started by finally sniping a WR250 light stator after 3 months of searching ebay.. Once you have that, it's easy.. Know your DMV regulations - in Cali, it says you can't plate if the 8th number in the vin is x(i can't remember what character it was), but if you keep reading after that, it says if it was green sticker, you can plate.. So based on that is how the gal at the DMV gave me my plate.. It probably helped that I was extra nice to her. ;-)

what tires are you running? are they dot? i just got a set of kenda trackmasters and theyre dot but the rear is narrower then a dirt tire of the same exact size. kinda weird.

kinda weird.

Not really.  Tire sizes are on the width of the tire body, not the tread.

First off, i'm sorry I accidentally replied to you in a report instead of quote!! Not on purpose!! (I'm new! haha).. Admins please disregard! .. Anyhow, thats my 19" dirt set, I my street set won't be ready for another month or two, due to budget..I bought an 18" tire because I couldn't find any dual sport tires for the 19" rim size.. They had a 19" dot knobby, but I figured that was pointless and crazy expensive, so I thought it would be cheaper in the long run if I went with an 18" rim. Plus the 18" opens up my tire options TREMENDOUSLY.
