(gas stabilizer) Run it for awhile to distribute and good to go? Or drain the carb after?

good to go
I use it in my Chevelle and in my '46. It seems to help the gas last through the winter. I ride through the winter but I sometimes add it just in case, then run it until the bowl is dry.

I've never let the bowl go dry that is one good thing about the stabil is it wont let the gas go bad.

If you use E90 or E85 gas (containing ethanol), better drain the bowl when storing, even with stabilizers.
