I have a 86 XR600R and plan to put some 94 forks on. I've read that the later models have a bigger axle that effects the hub, but I haven't read whether the axle to fork mounting dimentions are changed.

Do I need to find a later model axle and change the bearings in my hub, or can I use my early axle with these forks?

Thanks.

JP

Honda went to a bigger front axle in 93. You might be able to get the newer bearings for your older wheel? Not for sure though.

You will need to get the later model bearings/inner spacer and axle.
