How long can I expect before needing New Muffler Packing

Hey guys, first time posting on this sections, I have an 06 WR450f with an 05 YZ450f muffler on her, how long can i expect to get with stock packing? how can i tell when it's about to need replacing and how can I get some material, finally is there a how to do this? thanks in advance............Posted Image

I repack mine once a year.

I repack my pipes once every 3 months.THe bike will get louder and raspy when it needs repacked.You just drill the rivets out and pull the pipe and old packing out,put the new stuff in,and re rivet it back together.
