i can tell you that the difference between my 06 and an 03 my friend has is night and day... that 03, no offense to those of you that own/love them, isn't even close to the new bikes. The 07 is supposed to be even better than my 06, making the gap to the 03 even wider.

I rode a 07 yesterday. Its a night and day difference from my old 426. I can't believe how good the suspension and handling is. I can't afford one right now, but hopefully someday I'll win the lottery and then I can afford to upgrade bikes.

No change from 06 to 07 well maybe some minor stuff but nothing you would notice. Save your self some green and stay away from the white one. If you haven't noticed it has both gold and silver on it and reminds me of an 80 year old woman. Blue, Yellow or nothin man

The 07 is flat out the best bike I have ever had out of the box. I have been on both Honda/Yamaha & Ktm 250F's over the past 4 years and had an RMZ 450 for 06 and did not love it. The new 07 YZF has my buddies with CRF's wanting to dump them and get the Yami. It has smooth roll on power and is easy to throw in any corner with unreal suspension. Get one, and the special edition is white/silver, no gold.

are you positive that you did not want a blue one? :D

You know, I was just sittin here looking at my kids 450 (his is a blue one mines white). Oddly enough his also has the white and gold and silver colors. I wonder if ole mac doesnt have a case of new envy and is just trying to distract attention from his "old" granny bike. :worthy:

I rode an '03 for four years, liked it a lot but it was too big of a bike. just picked up my '07 last Friday, I was waiting for a white one, but I kinda got sick of the look and since my gear has a lot of white in it already, I just got a blue one and am glad I did.

Night and day difference. I love the tone of the exhaust, awesome. My suspension isn't even broken in yet so I can't tell too much about that (very stiff right now but I know it will be good after another ride or two).

The power is solid. I'm surprised MXA recomends adding a tooth to the rear sprocket, I thought the thing is very fast as is. 3rd gear punch it and the front end is pointing at the sky.

Turns so much better than the '03 it's not even funny. Feels light as a feather in the air.

I did replace the stock chain with a renthal before I even rode it.

Yes, my house is a mess and the stains in the carpet are from the two bikes I rebuilt last year. :worthy:
