YZ400 or YZ426

Hi,

I'm choosing between a 400 or a 426 (both in good condition) that I'm going to use for supermoto. I've read the 400 is a bit heavier, has steel valves, and is 2 hp down to the 426, but that they are super reliable.

Which engine should you guys consider to be the most reliable?

Is the 400 power noticable more tractable and less snappier?

I agree wity slomo, go with the 426. The suspension is better and it has a heathly mid range hit!

The 426 has a heavier rod too. Some of the 400's that where ran real hard had some issue with keeping the rod in the case.
