There was a guy at the Detroit swap meet today with 3 of them in various states . I didn't look real close or ask what they were worth. But apparently they're around if your looking for them.

I just bought a Suzuki RV 90 for my kids and I'm not sure if I'm up to the challenge to restore it?  This bike has a siezed motor, but the rest of the bike is in excellent condition.  If you are interested, send me a reply.

Ugly little buggers aren't they?

Another kinda "neat" thing about those bikes is that they could be made to run backwards. After the points got a little worn, & the ignition timing got really retarded, I accidentally discovered that you could point the thing up any sorta small hill, go up it a couple of yards, & intentionally kill the engine. Then you could whip the clutch in, get to rolling backwards, let the clutch out, & basically bump start it backwards...... Us 16 & 17 year old mxing paperboys had a ball doin' that........:ride: This probably doesn't help, but it brings back some memories for me.....:p
Many 2t engines will run backwards if you can find a way to turn them the wrong way for a few rotations.
I think there was even a 2t car that was a feature. Need reverse? Shut off the engine, press this start button instead of that one, viola! reverse.
Would make parallel parking interesting.

My neighbor has one that is a little rusty but complete minus seat, carb, 1 (maybe both) fenders, and tank. I'm sure he would sell it for pretty cheap as he traded an old x-box for it. (he was told it was a 550 kawasaki because it was painted green.)

I bought a set of chen sieng atv tires 21x7x10. 36 dollars a peice. Waiting on brake pads so I can do it all at the same time. My chain and sprockets still look good, had it up to 45 on a straight away! I have to go down to my DMV and see what hoops I got to jump through to get mine titled. Still trying to find a rear brake light assembly.

A 550 Kawi 2t?
If it's an inline 4 4T Kawi, they're great bikes to ride, depending on the year, you probably don't want to restore it, the 80-83 are a real bitch to get parts for, I've been looking for a tach for mine for five years.
If it's an 84-86 and you're serious about restoring it, I have rear cowl, seat and a bunch of frame parts on a roller. Some parts are green.

I had an RV90 just 2 yrs ago. Fun little bike! I got it for 100 bucks, got it running and had some fun with it. I could kickstart that little bugger, first kick by hand!!!I then traded it for 2 bikes, which I sold for just under a grand. Good deal!

I bought mine yesterday for $180 not knowing what it is. The best thing is it started and even drove it home 1/2 mile. Now I am trying to get as much info as mine needs work.

One thing is on the right side of the motor it has a stamp 700cc, so I was thinking this was a 70. What is stamped on your engines?

I look forward to restoring mine and having some fun. Keep the info going because I am learning a lot already. Thanks, Kenny

Mine is a 1975. It starts up first kick and drives but needs maintenance, tires, lights, ign, and I want to try and get metal fenders.

Hi all. I am finishing a total custom rebuild of my '73 Suzuki RV90. I've learned a lot, so if anyone needs some advice or sources, I would be glad to help. I bought this bike in '73 and it has been stored in my basement since 1980. I tore it completely apart early 2008. It has been great fun with a few major challenges. I realize how unique and great these little bikes are and anyone who owns one can feel special.

Hi,I bought a fat wheel suzy many years ago.I used it to ride sandy creekbeds in North queensland hunting wild boar.It never let me down and it was pretty good in mud ,too. Not a bike to get if you are in a hurry.I remember I had to pump up the fat tyres for it to handle on roads.(It came with a tyre pump) and let the air out when  in the sand.I used it pretty hard and could not kill it.Enjoy your ride.
Cheers  :excuseme:

I wish I had it in Australia when I was a kid !! At age 15 I was abusing it through many miles of wooded trails at my home. It goes over and climbs anything. I beat it to the max and it never let me down. 36 years later I'm doctoring up the old bruises.
