I was browsing xr parts at a site called rage performance and came across some cool looking exhaust, it has a stainless head pipe and a titanium muffler, the cost for the hole system is $520, has anyone tried it? are there any other good systems that you have tried and how much did it cost you?

also looking for links to good online parts places

P888,
I have used both XR's only and Noleen.  Neither one of them cost  near that much.  Both of them fit very well and both performed very  well.  If you are looking for an online parts supplier check out xrsonly.com.  Their products work very well because they specialize in XR's.

i have never been a big fan of the supertrap style of muffler, im not even sure why i don't like them, mabey someone has some goods and bads of the supertrap style. also to get the full exhaust from xr's only is around $400. The yoshimura has a stainless head pipe and a titanium muffler where the xr's only is ceramic coated steel, that should be worth something but i am not sure it is worth $120

supertrap style exhaust is highly tuneable with number of discs, also easy to clean and also is spark arrestor.  If you can find it I believe Dirt Rider mag did a test on full exhausts for the XR 250.  XR's only system was one of the cheapest and made the second most hp [lost by 1/10th hp].  The one it lost to cost the most but I cannot remember who that was.  Something strange that you never hear about.  Again a lot depends on what you plan to do with your bike.  Different systems work better for different applications.
