How do the exhaust baffles mount in the stock endcap assembly? Will the baffles (i.e. thumper racing's insert) mount into a 2001 end cap that has had the baffle pounded out?

The insert slides in where the stock baffel was and is held in with the same little screw that held in the stock insert. I put it in my "01" XR250 and am very pleased with it.
