Heres my 09 i got over the winter and what a time to tear it down to the frame and check everything out. Just finished getting all the graphics on the new plates as it had blank black plastics, lil different haha.

Im thinking about a green seat maybe and i got to find a trim kit i like. Then on to the motor and suspension

So many great looking bikes on this thread... Thnx to all TT members who have given me advice, recomendations, and motivation!  This bike is a 2010 I bought in Thousand Oaks, CA off a Craig's list post.  Took the kids on a family facation to Disneyland and came home with a new toy for Dad.  The bike was fine as it was, but I just can't leave anything alone... I bought many of the aftermarket parts used... cleaned up what I had and Powder coated what I could.  The bike isn't this clean today... been riding almost every weekend I can get out to Speedworld in Phoenix, AZ.  They don't stay shiny for long.. lol

Blue hubs look great! Might have gone a bit too far with the blue head stay though, just my personal opinion.

I agree with Dk.. Too much blue makes it look gawdy.. I'd say keep the hubs.. Remove the blue on the head stays [PC] them black instead and probably the blue electrical tape should go also.. With that the red on the controls detract also.. Might want to switch them to blue as they wouldn't look gawdy..

Sorry It is a sick bike but to much of one thing doesn't work..

Ohh and get a green scotchbright pad to the fame to get ride of the boot scuffs

Great looking bike there. Been thinking about going the Green route with my bike too. Yours gives me the idea of how the green hubs will go with the non Monster version. For me to replace all the little Monster Edition factory stickers will cost as much as a whole set of good plastics and a full graphics kit put together.

ZMCracing46... got to love a clean bike! I want those WC engine guards!

Pr1malR8gw... yeah I can't argue on the too much blue...sorta did my color selections out of order...I remember looking into the frisbee of removed parts and asking myself "what here can be painted"... who knows maybe I'll try to get some orange bits in my accessories...dunno. I just got a used PC waterpump from a TT member... soon I'll be back to screwing with my bike.

I know this isn't the right thread to post a picture of a trailer... but you guys are my fellow KX250F riders... thought I'd get some 'envy' or anyone is welcome to tell me I'm a financial un-genius... I've dumped so much into this tailer, I'll never get the $$ back.. but nice to ride in style, right?  It was rescued from a dirt lot out in Mesa, AZ...pretty much replaced everything on it.  I'm an engineer if you can't tell...the kids dig it.

Thanks for taking my words as not trying to be an ass..

you're bike looks good but has to much blue in my favor.. Hell just taking the head stays off and PCing the black would help so much..

yea those engine guards are a life saver. i had a bad crash last season where i landed on a kid over a jump and my bike got ran over. that guard got twisted into a pretzel and i have a gouge in my clutch cover. but i believe if i didnt have the guard it would have been alot worse

Thank you! I had ordered the plastics and the graphic kit before they announced that the 13 will have new shrouds, front fender, and - number plate but if it the new plastics are going to fit, I will upgrade when its time for new plastics again

Wait so Rolf that's a 12' with a 13' subframe or what?

snopro its a 2012 250F with some borrowed parts from the 2012 450F! I've been using the airbox, side panels and the rear fender of the bigger bike - the subframe is the standard 250F part. However I had to trim the seat a bit at the sides and at back end to make it fit.
