HELP!! Fuel screw O-ring

I pulled a BONEHEAD move and lost the fuel screw o-ring!

Does anyone know the dimensions? Or Do I have to endure further humiliation and order anthor Yamaha screw w/O-ring.

Suggestions??

Make sure it is still not jammed up in the carb.

Make sure you get a Buna-N 70 Durometer O-ring that is fuel resistant.

The size is standard 3/16" O.D. , 3/32" I.D. x 1/32" thick. ( also referred to AS568A - 001 size ) ?

No its not still in carb. Checked several times w/light hoping it would appear.

And the bike is a 05 WR450F

i just replaced one yesterday in a 2004 wr450 and a 2002 ttr250. actual size (inch) is: 0.145 X .070 . normal size: (inch) I/D 5/32 . O/D 9/32 . Section 1/16. i hope this helps. just take those measurements to a place where they sell o-rings. i bought an o-ring kit awhile ago that has 30 different sizes and 20 of each size. it has saved me a few times. it was around $10 i believe.

My new spare with fuel screw still in the original yamaha bag measures the above size.

you can't buy one directly from yamaha listed for your bike, they want you to buy the whole screw/spring/washer/oring, but if you look up a 450f Quad, they show the parts seperately and you can pick one up at the dealer, it's not embarassing, as these dam screws come loose on their own and we end up losing them anyhow.

The part number for the o-ring from a 2006 YFZ450S ATV is 3TJ-14562-40-00 (see carb picture at Yamaha USA item 51). On-line price at http://www.mrcycles.com/ is $1.24. Did you lose the little washer also? It is item 52 in the picture and the part number is 3TJ-14952-40-00. I didn't check for an on-line price, it can't cost much.

Local dealer didnt have Yamaha part# (for o-ring) but did have Keihin o-ring assortment w/ a 2.5 MM ID X 1.15 MM Thk, very close to INDYS specs.

BTW w/o the o-ring in place the bike "pops" A LOT on decel.(lean)

The same carb is used on the 450 Suzuki. I get mine from them and there normally in stock.
