If it does you have to take your float bowl off and blow through the vent tube OUT to make sure it is clear. DON'T blow in or you'll push crap in the carb. All vent tubes should be clear.


Surely if gas drains and it is clear it is ok:excuseme:

Not necessarily......that just means the plastic tube is open.....the brass tube inside the carb bowl could be blocked and fuel still comes out because it bypasses the brass vent tube internally....I say take the bowl off and blow "out" softly rather than use compressed air because you can tell if that WAS the culprit. After checking it I advise spraying carb cleaner and compressed air.
