Jetting Help for my buddy

My buddy has a 2005 XR650 and wanted to do some uncorking mods, can someone point me to some good threads on this? also he told me he read somewhere, (not here) that he has a 125 main jet and after uncorking mods he should run a 175 main jet, sounds way out to lunch for me, what's up with this>
