Can anyone identify my exhaust?

Hi Chaps,

Please find below a couple of links to pictures of my exhaust.

When I bought the bike (UK model 2003 WR450) I thought the can was standard but I have to admit it's a bit louder than I expected.

I've also spotted "Not for road use" stamped on it, see picture.

This makes me think it may not be standard as I would have thought they would have a road legal can fitted.

Any help much appreciated.

It's some sort of Yamaha exhaust as it has the factory part number stamped on it. I've not seen it on any US version bike, so perhaps it's native only to Europe...SC

Its the stock euro/canadian pipe.

JSanfillipo is right , it is the stock '01- '05 Euro/Canadian muffler. I can't believe that it's too loud though, they were at around 84 db's. WR Dave

in canada that pipe was 2001-2003.

You must have good hearing? loose it and get a yz pipe. (and some ear protection)

It's not all that loud, I suppose, but just seems a little louder than an '04 WR I hired last year.

So the fact that it's got "Not for road use" stamped on it doesn't cause any issues with the MOT or the law?

Ive just looked at my 02' WR426 and mine says 'Not For Road Use' aswell. I panicked thinking I would have to shell out for another exhaust, but from what you guys say, its the standard pipe?!

AGERMANEY...did get your bike through the mot with the pipe??
