Anyone know what the V designates on the '06 YZ450 FV. Maybe its the north American designation ??

The last letter is the year model. A 2001 is a YZ426FN, an '02 is a YZ426FP, an '03 is a YZ450FR, '04 an S, '05 a T, and the '06 is a YZ450FV. The characters I, O, Q, and U are typically skipped in this scheme as they are in most VIN numbers because they can be too easily confused with numbers or other characters in some fonts.
