WR 450 dual sport

today, I am very happy..Why you ask?? I just got my plate for my 2006 WR 450..I am ready to ROCK...I know, I have heard all the rummors of the DMV pulling plates..I dont see The state of California refunding transfer fees to all these bikes that have been done..I have heard of Yamaha dealers that are installing lighting kits and having a plate put on when you buy the bike new..It seems that the dealers that are out of the city limits are doing this without a problem..DMV's like in Norco, and Bishop dont even question you..They punch it in and the computers say OK..Pay the fee and get your plate..Its NUTS...Oh well seems californians are always getting screwed by high housing costs, property taxes and everything else that is expensive..So whats wrong with honest tax paying Californians having a little fun on there dirt bikes??? Most of the riding parks are closing so whats left for us?? Shit they got plates on QUADS in Arizona so long as they got the blinkers and stuff..Oh well I had to do my homework and had help from a fellow rider i met in BigBear but finally got my plate..Take care guys..I'm going riding.... ?

I just got temp plates for 2 06 WR450s a few weeks ago. Now I have to go to the CHP and get a VIN verification done. That bike is GNARLY on the street!

That is a good point. I would need to get money back from over-paying registration fees.

We don't even need blinkers unless the machine came with them stock....I use hand signals on my street-legal 03 WR.... ??
