Colorado, went riding today. Nice, white. Definitely get dirty fast. They didn't change the jetting from last year. Need to change to 48 pilot and 165 main in Colorado to stop the back fire!!

My 07 has the stock jets and does not backfire on decel. I haven't ridden it on the track yet though, only the 1 hour of break-in which I did on pavement. I did run it through all 5 gears though and no backfire or popping. My buddies 06 pops on decel?

I thought they changed from 42 to 45 pilot on '07, have I understood wrong?

you're right, they come stock with a 45 pilot, 160 main. Changing to a 165 main helped a lot with back fire, but I will try the 48 this weekend. Has Burned run a check on the 07 yet??

What is your elevation there and what size of pilot and main are you going to use? How big of a difference is the feel on the 07 vs the 06?

I'll go to a 48 pilot, 165 main. I ran a 45P, 165M last weekend. Warmer days I have run a 162 in the 06 with the 48P. Colorado is a mile high, 5200 ft.

The motors are very similar. See the 07 ride report in this section. I think he has done a good job of describing the changes. I will change the 739 front tire for a 752. I'm sure it will make a difference on turning.
