I have a what used to be near mint 85 xr 350r that my Dad bought new, It was 1 year old when the mainshaft of the trans broke at the kickstart idler gear end, it was repaired and I got the bike last month and on the first ride the same thing happened.I suppose it could be expected of a 20 year old bike but it was very dissapointing none the less as this bike has led a easy life of trailriding and received superior care. I am looking for any info on this and parts for the repair so any help will be appreciated. As you can guess I have had no luck locally finding these parts.
