i have a hybrid race quad with a 426 engine in it. the carb right now is not the stock 426 carb. it doesn't have a hot start and there are lever assemblies to the acc. pump., not a rod. i was wondering if the edelbrock was a good carb to use, because by the time i buy a used fcr and get the boyesen acc pump cover and zip ty fuel screw, it's about the same price.

The stock carb is much better than the Edelbrock. Do a search in the DRZ-400 forum for Edelbrock to see what I mean.
