help with restoration

i just got my first bike i ever rode back yesterday and it needs some work. its a 1978 xr75 and most of the plastics are either missing or thrashed, and it may need a new top end among other things. any help with where i can get parts for it?

ebay is your friend... there are also several salvage yards depending on where your at in warshington. I like Allens in spokane if your in that neighborhood...

Most of the used XR80's I found had Maier plastic fenders and side panels.

I'm trying to get a 79 XR80 running. Right now, I just want it to be a riding bike, later I might worry more about cleaning it up and restoring it.

This looked like a good website, though the plastic was very expensive.
