HELP BIKE DIED

WR 400 99 GRAY WIRE THROTTLE STOP AND OPEN AIR BOX MODS.
WENT RIDING TODAY BIKE RAN FINE UNTIL I STOPPED FOR A BREAK. RESTARTED BIKE IDLED FINE, WHEN I GIVE IT GAS IT DIES.WAS ABLE TO RIDE IT A FEW MILES WITH THE CHOKE ON UNTIL IT DIED ALL TOGETHER.CHECKED THE PLUG IT SEEMS OK, CHANGED THE PLUG DOES THE SAME THING. SOUNDS LIKE ITS NOT GETTING ANY GAS. BIKE IDLES FINE.

Take out your carb and clean it. Sounds like sand in the main jet to me.

Sounds like you are not getting fuel or air. Here are a few more things to check.
- check behind the air filter for rags, critters etc.
- remove the fuel valve from the gas tank and clean the screen.
- check all the fuel lines and vent hoses (including the one on the gas cap) for blockage.

Did you refuel during your pit stop? You may have got some water in the gas.
