Hello all:

I'm building a '71 Honda SL125 for local vintage racing (Elsinore GP, Adelanto GP, etc.)

I need a pair of rear shocks.

Couple of questions:
1. What is the eye to eye length of the stock shocks? (it came as a basket case with no shocks).
2. Is there enough chain / sprocket clearance on the lower LH side to run Works shocks?
3. What is everyone else running?

Also, in a previous lifetime, Bill Bell from Long Beach Honda installed a ATC 90 Mag on my '70 SL100. Basically, the mag eliminated the battery, on / off switch, and ignition key. Does anyone know / remember the specifics of this?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

You can run Works shocks but you must run them right side up or spring and shaft up. I suggest paying for the floating piston for best results.
13.5" is correct. You can run as much as 13.75". I don't suggest less for clearance sake.
