This year My family hosted 2 Atlantic GrandPrix rases. They were all natural terrain 7-8 miles horses trails based tracks. Guys had lots of fun. ATV did as well. I wanted to match the Hare Scrambles tracks I rode out in Colroado at VDR and Millikin back 5-6 years ago..and we did.

I also ran a H&H AHMRA HareScramble out in Millikin...I wonder if there is ENOUGH interest in CNY for me to ask the AGP folks to add a vintage class to a race next year. I will post this same question around and if there IS I will if no interest shows up on these postings I won't. So pass the word around the vintage guys.

My bet is our track is the best in the North East for Vintage type riders. (Like MYSELF!) My favorite bike to ride is my 1979 KTM420. Ask those who visit..Plan "B" is my husqvarna XC430.

The course we used for the quads is open enough for the 1970 era bikes. Lots of grass track and quad width woods trails. Some hills. Some gullys to cross etc. We can mix and match.

Here is a lap on a Quad..we have 14 miles of this stuff.

I live in Illinois, and your post sounds interesting, but honestly, I think you ought to post this on the AHRMA racers discussion board, AND contact your AHRMA regional off road co-ordinator. They are always looking for new venues and outlets for vintage racing. Our Midwest guy got a few AMA District 15 Hare Scrambles events to include AHRMA classes. They were well received. You could contact the AHRMA National office, and I'm sure they'd steer you to the right person.
