Do any of you know what dealer cost is on a 07 450, even without the freight?

I believe it is around 5700-5800, I just wanted to make sure!

I'd bet it was lower than that. My '06 was sold to me for the base price of $5600, and the dealer makes money selling them.

my 06 yz 450 cost me $5900 here in colo, out the door at $6200 w/tax.

Me too. Bear in mind there is a difference between actual cost and "invoice".

Cool...so in addition to the current $300.00 customer cash that Yamaha is doing on '06's are there any non-advertised dealer incentives that Yamaha is doing to help the dealers get rid of the '06 bikes?

damn I thought that dealer invoice was 5399 on a 07.....5299 on a 06....at least that was what I was told...... :thumbsup:

If you work at a shop, why would you disclose dealer invoice? Seems to go against conventional wisdom...

I dont think its much different then the car business in that the "invoice" price is not always the "lowest" or "dealer cost." There are hold backs and incentives involved. Plus the addition dealer spiffs that they put on certain units to help move them.
