06 things moved to a 05

got an 05 yz450f. will and 06 gas tank, radiator shrouds, and seat fit on the 05? just wondering.

I couldn't tell you for sure, but the difference in frames is much more significant than between past years for obvious reasons (cough...aluminum...cough) so my first instinct would be no. You could probably get something to fit somehow, but I don't imagine it will be too clean looking.

The 06 tank mounts way different than past tanks... you'd be hard pressed to get 06 plastic to fit the 05 unless you have a welder and a lot of time...

Two totally different bikes. None of the body parts interchange.

Front fender does! Fork gaurds are the same as the 05s. That is 3 parts!

and i really think it would be interesting to see if you could get the entire subframe assembly on it to...time would be your only problem, then you might run into handling issues

Yeah, I would assume the tank wouldn't fit because the frame it sits on is aluminum, different width, and then I know the plastics wouldn't because you would need the '06 tank, because the shrouds are "full" and you have no tank graphics, the seat might.
