The fact that Dowd can finish inside the top ten says a few things. He's silly fast for a forty year old and the difference between top ten and the top three or four is almost not comparable. It would be good to have another guy from abroad relevant in the series besides the Aussies.........and more than likely we'll be able to understand him too.

I could be mistaken but I didn't see Klatt's name on the list for mxdn.

I am a firm believer that the US riders are way faster, but I watched Klatt in Moncton, NB. man he is much much quicker this year. I really think he has the potential to be in the top ten for sure. As for top 5 that could be pushing it.
As for the MXdn we might not even have a team there. Blackfoot Honda is no longer so i'm not sure if we can even sent a team. It surprises me that you guys from the State like our Canadian announcers they kind of get on my nerves, to much screaming for me. They were motocross racer themselve so they do know what they are talking about though, but it gets a little over the top for me sometimes.

i like how everyone judges a National Motocross Champ on how well they did at SUPERCROSS. they are different people.

Oh really ??? Who is your AMA National Champ and SX champ the last few years...Maybe the same person ??

RC's last few years...

Year-end ranking:

2005 1st (SX), 1st (250MX)
2004 1st (250MX)
2003 1st (SX), 1st (250MX)
2002 1st (250MX), 1st (SX)
2001 1st (SX), 1st (250MX), :ride: :applause:

Perhaps JSR should have stayed on his smoker. As soon as he switched he got his butt smoked.

He'll be lucky to make top 15. JSR is the greatest Canuck in recent years, and he's a backmarker in US races.

Give him a good full season in the AMA, I'm sure if anyone can rise to the occasion, its Dusty.

im willing to bet he could put together some 250f top 10's also considering he won up here last year beating willard(correct me if im wrong) and willard is right there with kyle chisolm.
anyway this is all speculation, we will see when the gate drops. :ride:

doubt it..maybe if he had a good bike but if he does get any top 10s in the lites class, it'll be for one race if that

its way more expensive now to keep a small bore bike running, especially by yourself

the canadien dudes are good but JSR and Darcy will be top 10 guys at the most, in the 450 class outdoors anyways....alot of dudes who are privateers have pulled holeshots on their bikes like barry carsten on his rmz450 :applause: over the factory dudes

Come on!! He isn't going to bring some piece of crap bike down to race, and I seriously doubt that he is worried about how much it costs to keep the thing running! He will likley be fully backed anyway.

Funny..Mike Brown is on a factory backed satelite team and hes having problems with the bikes, alot of lites class racers worry about this..

thats why alot of privateers race the big bikes because its easier to keep a big bike going and competitive...

now the factories are concerned about rideability for the 450s and not so much power output

haha, you say it as if it's a competition. :ride: I can't wait to see dusty roll with the big boys. Right now he's a big fish in a small(competition-wise) pond, but he won't be a big fish in a big pond. :applause: He's going to get shut down pretty good for a season or two. I'm glad he's doing well in your small pond though.

correct me if i am wrong, but here we go.

2005- JSR holeshot the 2nd??? round of the ama outdoors, and went on to finish the moto 6th ( i cant remember where or which moto, but i remember lol)

2006- Dusty smokes JSR, in an 18 moto championship klatt won by 15 points with a DNF for one of his motos, so it couldve been much more than that spread.

so theres no doubt DK will be a top 10 rider, no doubt,

as well, in SX, which he had no experience doing before this year, he had several good rides, won an LCQ, had a top ten finish, and another one had he not fallen. So he will develop there for sure. Somebodies going to invest in him and he will return with some very solid finishes. maybe not in 07, as he will for sure need some time to develop, but he will definitely grow into canadas goat.
