Yes on both. But, you'll have to do a little trimming to accomodate the coolant reservoir. A little Dremel work and it's all good. Don't forget to put the heat shield on...SC

Sounds like you've done this before, SC.
I noticed the heat tape on the original fender. Did you reuse this on the new fender? I'm wondering if i can, and what type of adhesive to use to re-use the heat reflector?

I would go with auto goo.
Unbeatable performance! It is holding up both of my side view mirrors on my car after my woman has taken out both!!

If you haven't gotten the fender yet, you can order the OEM tape and put it on. When I got mine, I forgot to order the tape and didn't want to wait so I used aluminum duct tape from Wally World and put on a couple of layers. It worked fine, but I'd go with the OEM stuff next time. When you go to mount the YZ fender, pull off the WR and use it as a template for the reservoir cutouts. I give it 1 out of 5 wrenches on the difficulty scale, i.e., trained monkey level...SC

will the 06 yz rear fender fit the 06 wr thanks

I don't know about that. The 06 YZ has the new frame while the 06 WR has the old style frame. An 05 YZ rear fender will fit for sure. BTW how them mods comming along, is she a beast yet?

Oops! My bad!!! The '05 is a direct swap, but the '06 likely isn't due to the new frame. However, an '05 YZ fender will work on the '06 WR guaranteed. Sorry for the oversight, my brain was working faster than my fingers  ...SC

Another confirmation here:

I got an 06 Acerbis YZ450 rear fender that doesnt even come close to fitting my 06 WR450..

Got the proper 05 YZ fender on the way now...

I swapped my rear Fender on my 05 WR for one off a 05 YZF and it fit perfectly. No modifications were needed at all. I used an Acerbis Rear Fender FYI.
