Is this chain too loose?

Wow, Have I been measuring my chain slack wrong over the last 18 years???? I always sit on the bike to see how tight it is and adjust that way. I noticed your bike was on a stand. Never had any problems, knock on wood.

I think sitting on the bike is now the old way with these flash new machines they seamed to have changed the way you do everything!

Remember the days when how fast you were had a direct relationship to how big your B@lls were, not your wallet.

:thumbsup: But the sitting on the bike method has worked for me for the last 15years as well, ( I still do that check too).

18 years ago, you might have been able to sack the suspension to the halfway mark by sitting on it. That isn't generally the case anymore.
