Comparing the 06 Yami to my 05 CRF is tough. They are such different bikes. Where the Honda hits like Mike Tyson, the Yamaha comes on smooth like Barry White. Where the Honda likes to wash the front end like a Chinese dry cleaner, the Yamaha keeps it stuck like a porn star's ass crack! ?

Anyway, I like the new bike.

I could use a little more bottom end, but don't want to ruin the way the bike puts the power down. It's so tractable right now, I don't want to screw that up.

i put the stage one hot cams in my scooter and the I cat, fuel pum accel cover and a boyseen water pump impeller, i cant complain one dam bit, its has more power than i need.

i was hitting the 80 footer jump at our local track and barley in 3rd, my buddy who has the same bike was hittin it 3rd pinned. i have plenty of power all the way around.

You traitor. OK I will admit I have considered coming back to blue. Let me know if they have fixed the loose feeling on the forks. The last Yamaha I had the bars felt like the were coming of in high speed chop. If they fix that I may go back. ?

The 06 suspension is the bomb. Never had any loose feeling.
